Lorena Lourido is head of IKEA Food at Ingka Group. Lorena and her team led the work to inspire our 600 million IKEA food customers to choose plant-based through low prices and to become one of the first global companies to halve its food waste and now works on how to inspire others. This includes setting bold goals embedded in the business, working together within the industry to explore and develop new initiatives and creating engagement among Ingka coworkers. Lorena is currently a member of the Champions 12.3 coalition.
Lorena started her IKEA career working in different Retail positions. She then became the IKEA Food Manager for Ingka Group in UK&IE, before moving into her current role leading the Food agenda for Ingka Group.
Originally from Spain, Lorena now lives in Malmö, Sweden, with her family and is passionate about exploring initiatives to positively impact people's lives at home. Lorena is an optimistic leader driven by the purpose to create a better home and planet for all.
