President & Chief Executive Officer, The Global FoodBanking Network (GFN)
Lisa Moon serves as the President & Chief Executive Officer of The Global FoodBanking Network (GFN), leading the organization’s overall direction and long-term vision of a world free of hunger. Since joining in 2015, Lisa has driven significant growth for both the organization and the network they support, which now reaches over 40 million people in more than 50 countries.
Previously, Lisa served as Vice President of Global Agriculture and Food at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, where she spearheaded work that has become one of the leading global contributors to discussions around hunger and food security.
She holds a Master of Arts degree in security policy studies from George Washington University. Lisa sits on the Board of Directors of the European Food Banks Federation and the Lineage Foundation for Good, chairs the Advisory Board for Bradley University’s Office of Global Strategic Initiatives, and serves as a Fellow for the Farm Foundation Roundtable.
